Our family of four June 2022 holiday from Singapore to London began with a cancelled flight and forced us to take an earlier QR947, thus spending half a day at Doha connecting. On way back from Schiphol Amsterdam, QR274 chose to wait for 3 hours before takeoff for other boarding passengers. Upon reaching Doha we were denied connecting flight QR946 even there were still 20 mins before flight. Qatar Airways chose to wait 3 hours at Amsterdam, but can't afford to wait a while more for like 50 passengers on connecting flight? The airline staff simply handed us the new boarding pass. We stayed in Doha airport for 24 hrs, no toothbrush/bottled water, no accommodation, nothing! Only some minimal food vouchers for the only food court in the airport. Extremely poor service everywhere in this airport, run by foreigners. Good luck to those visiting this year-end for Qatar World Cup 2022. Oh not to mention Qatar airplanes condition is kinda old, the toilet is void of amenities and dirty, service is not prompt and so-so, totally feels like a budget airline. Can't understand how it can achieve best airline award and best airport award!!! Bet there are many who suffered the same fate wrote the same here.
Just wrote to the airline for an explanation and compensation.. let's see the reply... and will share again.
