Having used KLM regularly I thought I couldn’t fault them, how wrong was i.
I realised they are ok when everything goes ok but as soon as there is an issue, this is where they lack as a company.
I recently flew with KLM from Birmingham- Aruba business class and my suitcase was lost in transit.
I was told this would arrive within the next two days which unfortunately it never did.
It has now been over 21 days, this is the amount that KLM claim the case will be classed as lost.
After several time consuming online complaints filed that were shut down it has been proven that nothing will be done to resolve this and they are not going to compensate for the lost case due to know receipts of items for the clothes. Even though most of these items are over 6 months old.
I have lost complete trust with this company as they have offered nothing in way of resolving the issue and just keep getting the same response “we cannot do anything to resolve this, however we hope you fly with us again soon”.
I will not be using this company again. I appreciate sometimes things go wrong and luggage in rare occasions can go missing but I hoped I would be able to work with a company like KLM in these situations to come up with a resolution, but unfortunately they have proven this will not happen. The case is now closed with still no resolution to missing luggage.
