Review of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

Do not pay for economy comfort with this airline on this route. There is absolutely no difference to normal economy. On this occasion the food was terrible too. They charge extra for economy it is a disgrace, Customer service are equally as poor. They cannot compete with the latter day airlines such as Emirates. Very poor trip all round.

Have taken 4 KLM flights in the past week. All on time. All have free in-flight service. Changing at Schiphol is preferable to LHR, as everything is quicker and less stressful. Will use again and definitely ahead of any BA alternatives.

Flight was on time and crew very pleasant. Long trip but drinks & nibbles available most of the journey.

This was the best flight I've ever been on. The service and care of the staff was remarkable. Great experience.
An 8 hour flight. We were constantly fed and refreshed.
Excellent take off, flight and landing.

I travelled from Tanzania back to Europe with KLM. Nobody travels by plane for the food, but in the year 2018 one would expect airlines to know that not every passenger eats meat. Especially if there is not an option to choose the menu (for free --- only for an extra charge). Both the standard dishes on my return flight were meat! I joked with the staff on board saying that I guess vegetarians have to stay hungry on KLM -- the joke was on me because once I arrived in Amsterdam and continued with another KLM flight to Berlin the only sandwich offered was also with meat (aka over 14 hour trip with no food....)
