It was time to travel back to Bhilai from Mumbai - Navi Mumbai, to be exact. So, I had booked our ticket in Jet Airways online using their site. We had booked the evening flight. This flight was at 5.25 pm. So we started from home at 2.45 pm. There was traffic. It took us almost one and a half hour to reach the international airport. Jet airways operates from this airport. We had plenty of time. We went to the senior citizen's counter. There were two persons ahead of us. As I had already done web check in, I had to drop the baggage. It was smooth. The gate for boarding was 49A. We reached there well in time. We boarded the plane when the gates were opened and they announced sequential boarding starting with zone 4, then 3 and finally 2. We were in zone 2. I observe that the boarding process in jet is very slow as compared to indigo. There was lethargy amongst the staff in boarding this time too. But, they were quite helpful later during the flight. They took good care of the passengers.
The flight took off ;
late. But, it reached in time. The schedule shows that the flight time is 2 hours. But, actually it takes near about 1. 5 hours. So, land is always ahead of time or on time even if the take off is delayed.
Our baggage arrived on belt no 1 in no time. As soon as we got the baggage, we set out for Bhilai. Our car was waiting at the airport. We had a terrible experience at the exit. The out gate has two speed breakers so constructed that the car jumped awkwardly after crossing one and stopped in between the two breakers. I pointed this out to the people at the gate and told them that it should be made as per the specification. They were not ready to listen to me. They did not have a complain book. They advised me to reenter the airport, register the complaint at the airport with the authorities and come back to them, pay the entry fee again after undergoing the same agony that I had just experienced.

Today 22-10-2018 i still not have the compensation for my damage suitcase by Jetairways. I have more than 40 mails. I have a video of a phonecall to Jet airways Amsterdam...waiting for more than 60 minutes....
A lot of evidence....
A lot of time....
and still nothing there...

Terrible flight indeed. Old airplane for a 8 hour trip. No space for the legs, chairs broken, claustrophobic, meals are very very very bad in every sense. Staff not prepared and seemed almost scared.
I would never use Jet Airways again if there is an option.

untill today...22-10-2018 still don t have my compensation from Jet airways. i even have a video of a phonecall to Jet airways waiting more than 60 minutes ......to speak to Jet airways Amsterdam. A very bad airways .....

I booked with Jet Airways as I left it too late to book with Air Canada and Jet was the best I could do. It was already going to be a 10 hour and 45 minute journey with a stopover in Amsterdam. I was somewhat upset that 10 minutes before leaving for the airport I received a text advising the flight was delayed by one hour. Then, when getting ready to leave, a second text that the flight was delayed by another hour. Upon arrival at the airport, the flight was delayed another 45 minutes. Unfortunately, I lost my limo ride as I live outside the city and they are a small company. I ended up having to arrange a taxi ride to the airport which cost me a fortune. The flight itself was uneventful but it really spoiled the beginning of our vacation, and made for a very long day. Not to mention the stress of missing our connecting flight in Amsterdam and having to deal with that as well. I will not travel with Jet again since their pricing was not the most competitive to begin with.
