Eastern remain decent post FlyBe alliance. Still get a full lounge at Aberdeen though its a bit run down. Service on the flight is good and friendly as is the checkin and the small turboprops are ideal for the routes they do.

My flight was actually sold by British Airways, but operated by Eastern. I was lucky to be on their newest Embraer 170, which was very comfortable with lots of legroom. Given there were only 23 passengers on a plane that has a maximum capacity of 78, the service was great. I've also flown on the Saab 2000 they usually use to operate this route, which has plenty of legroom but is very old - bear this in mind.

This airline was a decent airline, just pricey.

It is still pricey, but they are cutting back.

Limited alcohol on board, smaller sweets, less things in the lounge at Aberdeen.

Timin of flights is getting bad as well, have ended up catching the train a couple of times.

We were going to the bike racing in august.They announced the flight would be delayed for 30 minuets.After then we got taken to the boarding lounge and told the plane was broken and the replaysment plane was not big enough.So the last 9 people to check in could not fly.They said we MIGHT be able to fly on the monday (this is friday) but we were coming home on the tuesday anyway.We got a small amount of compensation.But this did not help our diserpointment.The custormer service was very bad.

i must agree with Paul.M. have now flown with Eastern 4 times recently first time 1 hour delay on the return 4 hour delay still awaitng compensation from last june. the third time almost on time only 45 mins late.on the return back 2 hour delay.with no explantion at all from the staff. if there was another way we would most certainly take it.we noted that they won a award in 2014 and 2015. things have certainlly gone downhill since then. this review covers 2 trips one in June and one in October 2017
