Even no Drinks were included, water, coffe and some small Snacks are not expensive. Ensure you have a wireless debit/credit card with you to ensure easy handling...

We paid for premium economy for our flight from Vancouver to London, London to Tel Aviv return. When we arrived at the airport BA had oversold the flight and those who paid EXTRA for a reserve seat in premium economy class left us with NO seat! We paid premium economy prices to be bumped down to economy. The 747 plane was old and should be taken out of service, it was dirty, the food was disgusting! The entertainment
screen was small and very little choice.
We have travelled worldwide and we will never travel with this airline again!

Travelled premium economy, not a great deal of difference from economy on way out to Tampa, food was ok we were given a menu on outward journey which included fillet steak , but supply was limited and had run out before they got to us, small screens on outward journey and a dated aircraft.
Return Journey to Gatwick seats more comfortable, bigger screens, no menus offered and once again food choices were limited to what they had left.
BA are the only carrier that fly direct from uk into Tampa, so there is little choice, they could do with some competition.

Whilst having sadly reservations that BA is what it was once, this long haul journey, over 11 hours was on time, comfortable with lovely flight crew. Watched several excellent films, certainly a lot to choose from, food was good, 2 meals and water was being offered throughout the journey, plus of course some wine with the meal and other tipples if required. All in all a very pleasant, even pleasing journey home.

This was a great flight - leaving Gatwick at 12.30 and arriving in Tampa just around 5.30PM. For me getting to Gatwick is so much easier than Heathrow, straight there on the train and the midday flight means no really early start! The flight was nine hours, but seemed less. Great cabin service by B.A. the choice of movies was a little less than I've recently had on many transatlantic trips, but not a big problem. Immigration at Tampa a bit more of a queue than at other US airports, but that could have been the time of year.
All in all a pleasant easy flight. Would be full stars if the plane had been less tired inside (screen a little low res - not a great meal etc.)
