“BA service always great and prices that match budget airlines”
Review of British Airways

Always fly BA to / from Finland (in fact most of Europe) especially as I travel mainly hand baggage, as BA allow you 23kg. 1 gm over 8kg Finnair will make you place it in the hold.
BA Staff always friendly and willing to assist, and if it all goes wrong they do try to sort thing out.
Oh for the good old days with wine and food included, now its M&S!!
Just book another Helsinki trip in Oct - £83 rtn and at good times.

They fly this super old 747 to PHX. I got stuck on this after my Finn Air flight was delayed and they stuck me on this hunk of antique metal in the Club World class on the upper deck. The wine and champagne were great and the flight attendants awesome, but this plane is an old tired hunk of junk. Barely working TV screen...so old you could barely make out the picture. The bathrooms in biz class are the same exact as any economy plane on other airlines. And the food...WOW...was it awful. If they would ever start flying a decent, newer plane, I would take this nonstop to LHR, but as long as they are flying this relic, I'll just take another airline and make a stop cross country to get to Europe.

Boarding and getting settled on the plane was well organised at Heathrow. There was plenty of room in the cabin to place hand luggage in the overhead bins. The plane was fairly new (or at least it seamed to be). Seats were comfortable and there was plenty of legroom. The food choice is not great but we had bought something at the airport to take onto the plane so just purchased a drink. The stewardesses were pleasant and helpful. Both flights were delayed leaving the stand due to how busy it was.
The only criticism is on the way back, after having bought a drink we were left with the dirty cups until just before we landed.

We flew from London Heathrow to Toronto 2 weeks prior to this flight by Economy. No complaints, good service etc, to be honest a great flight. Well as we neared completion of check-in at Toronto for the return flight, the BA woman asked if i’d Like to upgrade to Premium Economy for myself, partner and son for $279 Canadian. Having not flown with BA before I didn’t know if this was a good deal or not, plus having spent my holiday money I initially said no, but thought why the hell not, so stuck it on the credit card. The flight was similar to the flight out with regards to service etc except much more room for the body. However after getting home and checking my credit card statement, it was $279 each, £166 x 3....... Shocked or what, felt like I’d been duped.... Got in touch with BA, there not interested.... So the moral of the story is check and double check what your being sold, I Reckon the flight was over booked with regards to Economy passengers and before they had to upgrade people free of charge, they relied on idiots like me.... Still had a great holiday though.....

I have flew with BA loads, and the last 3 times i have flew with them i have had poor experiences so finally thought id review them.

Once my flight was stranded in Prague for 3+ hours due to planes troubles and another time I had to stay an extra night in Delhi after spending 7 hours at the airport due to plane troubles. It seems a common theme with BE these days. they need better maintenance or better planes but until they sort out the these issues i have boycotted them.
