Fly with this airline if you want canceled flights, plane electrical issues, and flight attendants / customer service problems. Customer service was nothing but rude, and they lack attention to detail. They messed up my date of birth on my boarding pass information and I ended up not being able to pass through security. Never again.

These guys have the smallest seats which is intolerable even with extra leg room on international flights. The plane loaded late and jammed full with only 2 clerks to assist them. Then we sat on the runway for 1.5 hours while the pilots were delivered a required 400 page manual.
Then I arrive and my next flight has been pushed back 2.5 hours. No offer of anything to make all the waiting more tolerable.
Also, international flights only include 1 checked bag. A $95 fee for a second bag.
It’s been a harsh flight to and back from a great vacation.
I’ll never use American Airlines again.

WTF American Airlines, so my mother’s blood pressure dropped and she fainted in the flight from Philly to Athens what did the flight attendants absolutely nothing deer in headlights and those are the people I’m putting my life in their hand incase of an emergency, and then when my mom started to feel better and lie down on the empty chair next to her, one of them has the  audacity to come and ask if she has a seatbelt on and get into it with me, not one flight attendant came by to check on the status and see if we needed anything, need training in emergency situations, training in  de-escalating situations, common sense and negligence you are lucky I don’t sue your airline for not making us feel safe at all

Terrible American Airlines experience. Our flight to Dallas was delayed (eventually cancelled) so we missed connecting flight to honolulu. Rebooked us the next day ( I was on hold for 2 hrs to talk to someone—11pm-1am) which cost the 4 of us $350 for two hotel rooms addl night, and $400 for seat upgrades to get only remaining seats on connecting flight. And I’m not even going to mention $1500 for first night of Honolulu hotel we didn’t get to enjoy. I’ve learned an expensive lesson—next time delta non-stop costs more, but worth it to avoid this anxiety and loss of trip-of-a-lifetime 1st day.

The best thing we can do at this point is to leave no reviews! They are making us pay! But what can we do we must fly! And I wasn't driving all that way lol!
