Tried getting a trip credit for a flight over 30 days prior to it being taken, not a refund, a credit. I explained to them the dire life changing circumstances and they refused to give me a refund. Their corporate greed is more important to them than their customers. I am out $2k. I will never fly American again.

Do not ever, ever rebook when they recommend for possible weather delay. We were advised MIA would see delays 2 days in advance and advised to rebook at no charge. Not sure why we fell for it, but rebooked through CLT and they charged us $150. Not only did our original flight go out with minor delay, but our new flight was canceled, and we were left to fend for ourselves overnight in San Jose. Also held hostage at the airport for about an hour before we were allowed to exit through passport control and released onto the streets.

It’s sometimes easy for Us to find the worst in an experience; however, it’s important to give credit to having gone through it! Flying across country is challenging in many aspects, but if we expect to get there safely, fast and secure, we have to be patient and understanding of things that could happen. Changes with flight delays, seating and accommodations can be exhausting and stressful. There was a little of all the above in waiting for the boarding. What made all this worth the time was the services of the flight crew. I will never forget the incredible service and care shown by Gregory, one of the Flight Attendants servicing FC. ! His positive attitude and energy when boarding the aircraft and throughout the entire journey was incredible!! He was very warm with ALL passengers in his care while being complimentary and polite when providing the accommodative of his duties !! He made the trip well worth the wait and I have to admit, he is one of the Best Flight Attendants that I have met while traveling!! Thank You Gregory and All the Flight Crew for All Your Hospitality and Care during Our Air Travel Journey!!!

WORST Airline and WORST customer service. Our flight has been delayed for 3 hours and also they have changed the departure gate 4 times. Every time we asked for information to the AA employees they were RUDE to us

Never again. They left my suitcase unzipped and lost my USB drive with extremely important documents on it.. also made me wait 15 hours at the airport.. I can go on and on. Worst company i’ve ever known, will never use again. Thanks for ruining my day as usual.
