“Terrible food on Air Canada”

Air Canada Toronto-New Delhi. Great flight, great service. Badly spiced, badly cooked meals spoiled the whole flight. No choice of spice/chillies-less or western-style meals. Had to search for chicken pieces in the chicken curry. Unwholesome and dry nan/paratha bread. To add insult to injury, pretentious and misleading menu meant to sound gourmet is anything but. Large number of fellow passengers grumbled. A stewardess said such complaints not infrequent.

We had to wait 2 hours standing in the customer service line before fighting to get us to Barcelona within a reasonable timeframe. On the first flight from Montreal to Toronto, we waited 2 hours on the tarmac without any water or snacks (the whole flight was supposed to be 1 hour). Additionally, when we got off in Toronto, people were waiting at the gate for the transfers. They told all of us going to Barcelona to “run” across the entire airport. When we got to the gate, the gate agent told us that they lied to us and only told us to run there to reduce chaos (by creating more chaos?).

Where to start? Our plane out of Paris was delayed by over 2 hours due to weather, understandable. But when we arrived in Toronto they couldn't locate our bags upon going through customs and wouldn't let us through until they were located, a process which took 45 minutes and caused us to miss our connecting flight. They rebooked us for a flight to Chicago and then Denver (our original destination) with only one hour in between flights. We were told to pick up our bags since we'd be transferring from Air Canada to American Airlines, but the bags never came off the plane because they'd been transferred and Air Canada has no way to track your bags via app or web so how were we to double check what the employee told us?

After we missed our second flight from Chicago to Denver the girl at customer service was eating a freaking hamburger while assisting us and joking and laughing with her coworkers. We were rebooked again for a flight the next day without an apology or concern. Just a very rude "one hour between flights is usually enough time." Obviously not.

What a horribly disorganized airline with rude employees at the customer service desk in Chicago. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Air canada lost my luggage on my flight from Edmonton-> Toronto-> London, I was told that I would be contacted within 24 by the delivery service and I was not. Calling the customer service numbers they give to you is absolutely useless and it is impossible to get a straight answer from anyone at air Canada.

can nver get good flights-have to book a year ahead of time

have to pay exhoribant fess along with many points

mecandise takes over 6 weeks to come and there is no tracking
no e-mail for customers
