“Fun Puddle Jumper”
Review of Winair

Reviewed 8 December 2016

10 seater plane that was very well maintained. Pilot and co-pilot very friendly, asked all 6 of us if this was a first visit to Nevis and to all first time visitors offered dinig suggestions. Flight was smooth as air was calm. Like all puddle jumpers the space was limited but the flight is short and view of ocean is nice, so it all works out.

After a long intercontinental flight we waited for two hours on the St. Martin airport for our flight to St. Barths.
We got no information whatsoever that there was going to be a problem with our flight to St. Barths.
Half an hour after scheduled departure time still no boarding, still no information!
Employees at the counter told us that there would be a "minor delay".
An hour after the scheduled departure time they told us, that we had to take the boat to St. Barth and that they had "no idea", where our luggage was.
In my opinion this company should be called LOSEair instead of WINair.

Hopped over to Saba for a day trip to remember with this fabulous little airline. The planes are all very well maintained and the pilots are fantastic, landing in some of he most high risk airstrips while making it look effortless.
The landing at Saba is breathtaking, as is the take off, but you know you're in very safe hands with these guys.
They fly to several islands from St Maarten, so, what are you waiting for? Go get your ticked booked and have an adventure of a lifetime!

Small planes, well maintained, very comfortable, safe. Saba boasts the shortest commercial air strip in the world and our pilots only needed half of it to land.

Taking off was no problem either, the flight provided Breath-taking views of the ocean. It was not a cheap flight, but it beat waiting for the ferry boat.

Our family loved two short flights from one island to the other. It was the first time for us and we loved it. We would do it all over again and again. Much better than any ferry or boat. Price, however, is high for such a short flight.
