Cruising is definitely not what it is used to be. A lot of cuts and eliminations.
We had very bad experience in the Bayonne Port. They opened and closed our suitcases at least 3 times. Wear very rude to us, it was a shock, it never happened to us before.
We had very nice balcony cabin overlooking the Boardwalk.
They eliminated the beautiful Diamond Club, used to be a pleasure to spend time there. Currently they use former Comedy Club for Diamond club. It is small and crowded.
They totally eliminated Lunch buffet in the main dining room during sea days.
Selection of food in the main dining room for lunch is very limited. The dinner wait in the main dining room is very long (both to be seated and being served). My time dining is really a joke, since you have to wait about 40 minutes to be seated.
Specialty restaurants are good as always, but they are overpriced, and they want you to pay additional tips, after you already paid about $90-$100 per person for the specialty restaurant and your cruise included pre-paid gratitude.
Park Cafe is good, use it for lunch, they have nice sandwiches, salad, decent coffee and no lines.
They also have very nice new Mexican restaurant on 15th floor (free).
Solarium Bistro is good and free for dinner, they eliminated some dishes though (no more stuffed cabbage and stuffed peppers). They still have baklava (excellent) and lamb is good.
We used main dining room 2 times for dinner on 2 formal nights. The food selection is better on formal nights, on the 2-nd formal night there was no escargot. Lobsters were nicely prepared though.
Nice band is playing by the pool on the 15th floor.
They did some renovations to the ship, and it shows. The ship looks and feels much newer. Jazz club is very pretty. Nice Boardwalk. Central Park is as always very well groomed. We did not like the very dark music hall, used to be so chic, with white carpet, not anymore.
Boleros was nice and cheerful as always. Scooter bar was nice, and the piano player was good. They also have very good bartender in Scooter bar, he made the best mixed drinks on the ship.
They completely changed the Parade on Promenade, and we loved it. Beautiful costumes and 2 beautiful ships (including pirate ship). That was really a pleasure to watch.
Coco Cay is a real paradise. They made a really nice job with it. We loved it. Barbecue lunch was also very good.
Bahamas is under construction now and was o.k. We used the beach by Margaritaville (free).
Ice show was good (we had an issue with the personal there in Studio B, very rude).
Also, performers were falling all the time and the ship was not shaking at all.
We did not make it to the Aqua show (it was canceled 2 times on us). We saw a little from our balcony. It was good and all new.
We went for breakfast to Johnny Rockets (it was just o.k.). Both coffee and orange juice did not taste good. Eggs and omelets were fine.
High tier event was also disappointment. We thought we would be treated to the aqua performers. Forget it, there was just 1 performer walking on the rope. That is all. Drinks were limited (champagne and mimosas). No bloody marry or other drinks, like it used to be. By the way no free champagne on promenade or art sales.
You really felt the cutbacks everywhere and it was depressing.
Overall, it was an o.k. cruise.

Been on quite a number of cruises in the past, p&o, Princess, celebrity and royal Caribbean. First of all the flight from Heathrow, the airline was American Airlines, very little knee room food poor, on arrival in miami it was total chaos, approximately 3hrs to get through passport control/Immigration , not the ideal start We went on this ship because we wanted to try a really big ship experience, but never again, even though we went in January, the amount of children on the ship was unbelievable , we did a back to back cruise. The entertainment was good, especially the aqua show, and the ice skating show, there was a couple of comedians on every night, but the routine was exactly the same every night for the 2 week cruise. Even though we had a inside cabin, this was the smallest cabin I have ever been in, no room at the side of the bed to get out, had to climb over the bed to get out. Some good things about the ship, but not for us. Standards have dropped, people dining in the main dining room looked like they just come from the beach, very relaxed dress code, people in whirlpools drinking, and then just leaving them on the side even though signs saying no food or glassware in the pools.

We went on a family holiday cruise last September 2022 and it was amazing! It was our first-time to cruise aboard the Royal Caribbean for my husband, kids and I (and the nth time for my sister and bro-in-law), and we weren't disappointed! My favorite was the Central Park view rooms, the amazing food at the main dining hall - especially during breakfast! At first there were mishaps as we were a party of 7, and we were placed in 3 different tables during our first night/first day, and again the following day. However, they were able to fix it quick. Will definitely return but will always look for KIDS SAIL FREE!!!

We took this cruise as we thought it was the best option to use our Future Cruise Credits before expiration the end of December 2022. Good and lots of bad changes and non changes. Good..... Things for families to do, Music Hall was nice and sports bar was larger. Bad..... Lots of restaurants closed at 5pm. Buffet closed twice during the day. First time that has happened to us. Non ..... CATS was still their major show at the theatre, it was there when I took a cruise on the Oasis when the ship came out. Didn't care much for it then. Our waiter, asst waiter and cabin steward were outstanding. The entertainment was average at best.

We took advantage of the Next Cruise program while on board with the promise we could change dates with no fees or issues. I guess it was our fault for taking their word and not looking at the fine print. The kids scout troop announced the dates for summer camp as the same dates as our cruise. When our agent called last week to change the dates, she was told we would loose our onboard credits ($600) and our $400 deposit no matter if we canceled or changed the dates. I called today thinking there’s no way they would loose a family of four that has booked 4 cruises in less than 20 months. Label me wrong! We are out $400 due to miss information. Customer service at RCL will be the death of them. In this day and age customer service is king. RCL is on a sinking ship when it comes to taking care of loyal customers! We will take our money elsewhere. Completely done with Royal!
