Hi there
I know there're buses from Ranua to Oulu, however, the schedules of the buses are either very early or very late (3 slots in a day). I would like to see if there's any place I can rent a car near Ranua Zoo, or if I can call a taxi.

50 helpful votes A taxi would cost hundreds of euros - it's a two-hour drive. Also oneway rentals tend to be prohibitively expensive, so you'd better stick to public transport timetables. You can also check Ranua-Rovaniemi and Rovaniemi-Oulu timetables separately. It'll be a longer journey than a bus Ranua-Pudasjärvi-Oulu, but connections between Rovaniemi and Oulu are more frequent.
