Too far to travel there and back in a day, unless chartering an aircraft or flying yourself.

The swimming pigs are not really a day trip from Abaco. Pull out a map and take a look at Abaco (where Treasure Cay is) and then keep going south until you see the Exuma Cay chain. The pigs are a little more than halfway down the chain towards Georgetown.

Logistically, unless you took a charter flight directly from Treasure Cay to Staniel Cay, it isn't really doable. And even that flight is going to be around 1 1/2 hours + depending on the plane used.

Actually there are a small group of swimming pigs on No Name Cay, not far at all from Treasure Cay. We just took a boat from Green Turtle Cay to visit them. It took only a few minutes to get there by boat.

Great, another set of pigs who swim. Soon the entire Bahamas will be covered with aqua-minded porcines. Maybe we can have an inter-island Miss Piggie contest -- complete with synchronized swimming, hot dog eating, and evening wear competitions.

Did I mention the pig roast is fabulous?
