Is there starting point of hiking trails right in this little town?

Many trails start in all directions. It's not such a little place but extends along the road for several kilometres from the coast to the foot of the mountains.

You can probably work out a few circular walks using a good map. Eg up to El Cedro or Acevinos by one route and back by another. Probably good though to think of linear walks and use the bus or taxi to take you either to the start or back from the finish.
