You can buy western brands of cigarettes from small independent supermarkets. Most brands of alcohol are available in the wine shops including western brands such as Johnny Walker whisky and Gordons Gin. Expect to pay western prices. Duty free on arrival at Colombo you can buy a couple of bottles of spirits per person.

Alcohol is not cheap in Sri Lanka. You will be paying the European prices for international brands.

Have a look at Old Lady gin, I have only seen it in Sri Lanka (but found out you can get it in the UK) but quite like it, around £20 in my local Spar, more or less the same price as in the UK.

kg - is that a serious question? If so, then you can still bring cigarettes into the UK. You are limited to 200 per pax. Doesn't matter if they are duty free or bought abroad.
NB some countries have banned the import of tobacco by travellers. I think Australia was one of the first. It makes sense if you have a strong anti-smoking agenda not to allow people to come in with a couple of hundred very cheap fags.
