In order to make suggestions we need to know more information about your plans. Are you arriving and departing from Dublin? How long will you be in Ireland? It would help if you would get a travel guide book to narrow down some places and sites that interest you. We will then be better able to make suggestions for your trip.Edited: 06 May 2018, 14:40
We are starting our trip in Dublin on Sunday and staying at the Radisson Blu. Monday, we are touring Dublin. Tuesday, we pick up our car at the airport and thought we would visit Howth - perhaps to see the Howth Castle? Then we drive to Galway. We would like to see at least one castle along the way to Galway if possible. Tuesday night we are staying in Galway at the Galway Bay Hotel. Wednesday we are traveling to the Dingle Peninsula and would like to see the Cliff of Mohr along the way. Is a visit to Dunguaire Castel too much? We are renting a house overlooking Brandon Bay for three days and want to tour the peninsula. Then we drive from Dingle to Dublin, stay at the airport hotel and fly out early Sunday back to the USA. We want to see as much as possible without running ourselves ragged and spending loads of time around crowds and in the car. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.
