The main question is - how will you be travelling around, and where are you planning on flying in to? Relying on public transport is tricky, or you will need to hire a people carrier, unless you are taking your own of course. Also if you are planning on flying into Bratislava, these resorts are a long way away.

Jasná is probably easiest - there are direct flights from Dublin to Poprad with http://www.danubewings.com/lris-presentation/home (presuming you are flying from Ireland - but there is only one flight a week, on the 13th and 20th February, back on 20th/27th) . From Poprad you will need to get to Liptovský Mikuláš from where there is a bus up to Jasná. However, as the plane lands at 7pm you might be better off staying in Poprad that night and then continuing the next day.

Donovaly is only really accessible by car - there are buses from Bratislava, but it takes 4-6 hours with changes in Banská Bystrica or Ružomberok. It is a lot quicker from Poprad - about 2 hours either by direct bus or with a change in Ružomberok. However again you would have to spend the night in Poprad.

Have a look at this for train and bus times http://cp.atlas.sk/vlakbus/spojenie/

And I presume you have already found this http://www.skislovakia.sk/ for more details about skiing.

Hope this helps!

From my experience I'd recommend Vysokie Tatry, near Poprad. We have stayed at Pension Kula in Tatranská Štrba from which you can reach some ski resorts by car or by "zubachka" ie cog railway. Also more expensive but much prettier is Strebsko Pleso, where there ski and spa and more.

Jasna is the best skiing resort in Slovakia, has about 35 km of skiing slopes and is higher then Donovalz, so the ski condition might be better. There are also more conditions for enterntainment and apres ski.

Donovaly is a smaller-family oriented resort, with only one advanced skiing slope. There are less possibilities to spend a free time there.

It really depends on your preference, Vysoke Tatry are not my favourite, as they might be overcrowded
