HI Paul. It's very comparable with Costa Teguise in that it isn't as hectic as Puerto del Carmen... but there is always a party going on.

Enjoy!

Yup... similar hortels and similar distance from town. Either will be fine as long as you don't expect 5 star luxury LOL. But clean and basic is about right for them two.

For nightlife nearest to you, head to CC Papagayo (Burger King complex). Wax Bar until about 1am, then head upstairs to the Sports Bar... or downsrairs to Jungle.

Also worth popping up to, later in an evening, is Punta Limones centre up by the harbour - Legends for Karaoke if that's yout thing, Irish Anvil for live music, and then upstairs to Rooftops for late drinking and a boogie.

Enjoy!

looking to stay mid march and would like the best of both world's - peaceful sun bathing during the day and good restaurants and bars in the evening. Can anyone recommend hotels which are not too far away from the night life centre

Many thanks

HI Sammy.

It depends on your budget. If you want luxury, then it has to be the Princesa Yaiza. Otherwise... any of the following is located perfectly for you.

Lanzarote Princess

Bahia Blanca Rock

Sun Park

Hesperia

Lanzarote Park

Las Brisas (although I think that one's just timeshare)

Staying at Cay Beach Sun, s/catering. Got aa good deal with Lowcost Holidays...

Cannot fault it. Very clean, firm, comfy beds, we have two huge calconys. Asked for a sunny balcony, away from the pool area. Got no. 452. Just perfect. :-) Facing road/sea in distance, mountain to side. A quiet place anyway, no worries about noise. A 10 min stroll to Papaguayo Cebtre...not too much there, until you walk around it and pop out on the sea front. A paved walk all the way. Left to Marina, right into P/Blanca, with every pub and eatery along the way. We came accross The Old harp pub, (Irish) and we did something we vowed we never would...we sort of headed there EACH night!! After the footy finished the live music began. Brilliant! Then a stroll home. Cabs are so cheap, 2/3 euros into centre.

Has anybody been to the Vista Lobos complex? Casa Luciana is the villa name. Wondered if they are out of the way or easy walking distance to Playa Blanca?

Hi

Have been to vista lobos (don't think it was that villa though). They are probably a good 20 min walk into playa blanca, however there is a taxi rank on the road next to the complex of villas. Couldn't fault the villa we stayed in four good sized beds and huge living space with pool table. If your travelling with children probably a bit far out to walk. Also close to walk the other way and go towards rubicon palace where there's a nice bar (marea) and a few good resturants.
