Hotel Le coorg is a very good option. Its near Raja seat. You should visit Dubare Elephant park..There is some adventure park on the way.I have forgotten the name.Golden temple is a monestary which is worth visiting.Chikhole reservoir is a must. These places are in Khushalnagar so that makes one day trip.Second day you can go to Mangalpatti which is mesmerising. You have to hire a jeep for that @ 1500 .On the way back you can see Abbey falls. You can buy spices from the local market in Madikeri. We didnt go to Talacauvery becoz of the rise in water levels. Moreover it was a long drive. You can do that..

You can choose the option of KSRTC fly bus from airport to Mysuru & thereafter by bus to Madikeri.Else a pvt cab for your round trip.

Bengaluru-Coorg takes about 5 hours drive.

Check out KSTDC Mayura valley view in Madikeri for accomodation.Incase of a pvt cab,you can as well look at home stays which are generally away from the town.

Bhagamandala-Talacauvery-Abbery Falls-Palace-Fort

Dubare elephant camp-Bylakuppe Golden Temple-Cauvery nisargadhama

Plan an evening visit to Raja seat/Omkareshwara Temple.

Plantation walk can be an added option.

Mandalapatti / Nagarahole can be additional options.

Check out the rain situation before proceeding since Coorg is witnessing on & off unprecedented rains and subsequent closures of affected roads/tourist places.

We had 3day trip which i will sum up below...

1st day we reached madekeri in the morning and stayed at the Tent stay it started with rains here and there so the start was quite good.#1 The first point visited was Abbey Falls and it was magnificent. #2 We headed for the Mandalpatti drive in Jeep and it was ultimate fun and thrilling experience of around 15-20Km up hill to reach the peak which was mesmerising view of clouds and from here on the Madekeri rains started which didnt seem to stop. #3 Raja’s Seat was the last point of the day and again the rain came in but we had the view of the point.

The night was too windy so left the tent and stayed at some other place this was really scary.

Day2 we went out of madekeri to visit #4 Namdorling Monestery (Golden Temple) it was a nice place #5 Dubare Elephant camp due heavy rains the kaveri river was overflowing so cudnt go to camp as the boat cud stuck due to high water flow #6 Cable bridge nearby the camp to take pictures (must visit for pics) #7 Harangi backwaters was a treat to see water mountainsand clouds just perfect. End of the day 2 had less rain as were out if madekeri and on return to stay we saw the rains at madekeri again

Last day #8 Tala kavery was cloudy place origin of Kaveri river had clouds all over was beautiful place to see and rains came but we were lucky take pics. #9 Mallalli Falls was the best place of the tour it was just in full blossom with such a pictursque place with trees mountains and clouds (must visit)

#10 Harangai Dam its all gates were open and clear sky.

So this was my Trip

Rains were heavy in Madekeri rest it was quite normal

Soo many tress were seen to fallen on roads but the govt ensured the tress didnt obstruct the traffic

U must carry the raincoats as umbrella might not work due to winds.

any more questions please feel free to ask.
