We are staying in Portmagee July 18-20. Our hotel does not have air conditioning ? We are having second thoughts due to this, do not like sleeping while sweating all night! Is it hot and humid there, miserable sleeping weather thus time of year?

We genuinely don't know. You might need the heating in July. You never know. http://www.met.ie
Most smaller hotels in Ireland don't have air con because it is rarely needed. However we have had an atypical winter (worst snow in about 55 years) and an atypical May - absolutely beautiful. So we might have a normal July: occasional sun, some rain and temperatures in the teens.
Absolutely no idea! As Bean has said, we had heavy snow in March and at the moment it is hot and sunny. Neither could have been predicted . It could be warm and sunny, it could be cold and wet. I have never stayed anywhere with air conditioning, it is unusual here.
Ok thank you. My son has fairly bad asthma and heat effects it .
It is never hot and humid. It can often be cold and humid. For it to be hot it means the sun must be shining so then it can’t be raining and hence humid.
Portmagee is at Valencia Island which has a weather station. Google historical weather reports .
