Las Casitas vs El Conquistador

I'm traveling end of July with a Family of four my wife and two daughters (ages 18 and 11) and myself. I got it narrowed down to staying at either Las Casitas or El Conquistador, the wife and I like to have a separate room from our children, what is the advantage/disadvantage to getting a two bedroom villa Las Casitas vs two rooms at El Conquistador? The kids are older so I have no problem letting them wonder over to a pool or play area or whatever on their own knowing we will follow shortly there after. We never been to Puerto Rico so any information would be helpful. I'm planning on renting a Jeep while we are there (if that matters for anything).

"I am referring to the pools that were absolutely wild and the general crowd"

A hotel should never be judged on the guests' behavior. It has absolutely nothing to do with it, and has zero reflection on it. The OP is asking about the hotel, not the crowd.

yep it is resort prices...but eating in for breakfast/lunch and dinner on vacation does not sound fun...breakfast probably nice but there are some lower priced options nearby Estacion or at Las Crobas.

Correct, my idea is to break it up as well. I'll check Estacion or at Las Crobas on the map and see how far it is.

Thanks again!
