Places to stay for 1 night near Lake Crescent

We will be spending a few nights in HOH, then headed to Lake Crescent to check out the surrounding sites. We will be in the Lake Crescent area for just 24 hours, then we are headed to Seattle airport the following day. We have just 24 hours in the Lake Crescent area and need a place to stay. The Lodge is FULL for our dates. Can someone recommend places to stay up around the Lake Crescent area? Could be as far off as Port Angeles in any direction. We don't mind driving for decent accommodations. Thank you!

What date? I road my bike by an apartment rental along the Elwha River last week. They rent by the night.

There is nothing the quality of Lake Crescent Lodge till you get to P.A. -- Log Cabin Resort is on the same lake but is definitely only three stars. https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Hotel_Review-g143…

Are you aware that it is a three to four hour trip to SeaTac airport? so you may wish to overnight farther east, in the Dungeness/Sequim area. Lake Crescent area is beautiful; even if you stay farther east you can stop on the way for a short hike up to Marymere Falls.

How about once you've narrowed options down to a handful of picks, come back for more advice.

Tennis there are three rentals near the Elwha that I know of. Have you stayed in any of them to rule them out? They are all an easy drive to Lake Crescent.

hi glacier, sure if there is a good quality b&b or the like, then maybe that would work especially if there is no surcharge for a one-night stay.

There are a couple with no surcharge. Also for those only spending only one night there is a small hotel next to Granny's Cafe. Very small rooms, but clean and very cheap. Not for everyone, but for one night especially for one person an option.

Yes, we are aware of the distance, so after we leave Lake Crescent, we will be staying the night in Seattle 1 day before our plane leaves WA.

FYI Granny's Cafe is CLOSED on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Call the cafe and verify the hours before you make that a stop in your itinerary.

I am researching this more and have come across a little known place right outside Port Angeles, Washington near Joyce, WA. It is a cabin owned by a homeowner who lives on the same property. She does NOT advertise and has no photos of her accommodations. She regularly takes overflow from Lake Crescent Lodge. Phone is 360-928-9705. Homeowner is "June". I'd love to see some photos if someone goes to visit.
