April 17th

Frequent travelers to Boston, but we've never been on Patriots Day. We have an opportunity to go a day early and stay in Concord for a night, but it would be for the 17th. How crazy will it be coming into Concord around 4pm that day?

Thanks in advance!

The reenactments on Patriot's Day (observed) in Concord are in the early morning hours. I don't think you'll have a problem coming into Concord in the late afternoon.

True Concordians know that Patriots day is celebrated on the 19th anyway, regardless of what they might decree at the Statehouse in Boston.

The parade is over by noon so you will be fine at 4:00, but you'll have missed all the fun.

Thank you! Still working out the details but we might be able to make this work and have the following day to see both Concord and Lexington:)
