Omaha on a Sunday evening

Will be arriving into Omaha on a Sunday the 29th. Myself and an 18 year old. Any suggestions on evening entertainment? I would like to find a local eating establishment not a chain, suggestions please.

What part of town will you be in? Can we assume you have a car?

What kind of food do you like and what kind of entertainment are you thinking about?

Depending on what time you're getting in, The Durham Museum currently has an exhibit on movie costumes called CUT! Costumes and Cinema. They close at 5 p.m. on Sundays. I have heard really great things about the exhibit. They have costumes from Pirates of the Caribbean and other films. You can search for more events here: http://www.visitnebraska.gov.

Some really great restaurants in downtown Omaha include M's Pub, which has a very eclectic menu, lots of variety and vegetarian fare. If you like sushi, there's Hiro 88 and Sushi Blue, which are known for having creative rolls and probably the best sushi in Nebraska. Upstream Brewing Company has excellent beer and a varied menu. Let me know if you need any other suggestions.

Espana or Boilerroom - Small Plates/Spanish Tapas

Wave Bistro - Seafood with Asian Twist

Crave - Modern American AMAZING desserts!

Ryan's Bistro - Fine Dining

Nicola's - Authentic Italian

Blue Sushi - Love their crab rangoon, it's not your every day rangoon.

Zin Room - Modern American

Jauper or Tandori Fusion- Indian

Not many cleaver ideas on entertainment, sorry.
