Travelling alone to Canada

Hi there! I am going with family to Florida and will be driving home to Canada alone in January. I often travel alone and when doing so, normally stay at Hilton/Marriott type properties because of the consistency in safety and security that these hotels provide.

I will be driving through the Omaha / Council Bluffs area (on I-29 north) and I was wondering if someone could give me information on the location surrounding SpringHill Suites Council Bluffs near the junctions of I-80 & I-29 such as if this hotel is located in a safe area and what I should be aware of?

Thanks!

We have stayed in that area and it is fine. It is very busy, the casinos, concert hall, restaurants, and Bass Pro Shop share that area. You wont have to go far for fun or food!
