Omaha Amtrak Station

Our train will arrive at 4:30 am and we are not able to pick up a rental until 7:30 am. Is there a terminal inside or an area we can hangout for a few hours? if not does anyone local have any ideas for us . If all else fails i guess we will find a Denny's get breakfast and hangout there. Lol.. Thanks for any help

Yes, there is a terminal but it’s very small. Unfortunately, at that time in the morning there isn’t anything super close by that’s open, as the station is located in the downtown area. You might be able to find a coffee shop open though if you search in the nearby Old Market district but it’s about 2 blocks to the West and then about 4-6 blocks to the North along 10th street...so depending on how much luggage you have to carry it could be too far of a walk for you. No Denny’s or similar close by either but there is an Embassy Suites along 10th street that you could possibly hang out at. Good luck!

I can't think of anything in that area that is open at that time. Even the nearest coffee shops don't open until 6:30 or 7. And there aren't any chain breakfast places in the area, unless you're willing to call a cab or an Uber and have them take you there.

Just curious: what car rental company is near to the Omaha Amtrak station?

Your train will probably be late so it could be a non-problem.
