Seattle to Twilight country - trip report

Hi all -

Hi all -

My blog posts from my Twilight trip to Port Angeles, Forks and La Push are up on my web site. I went out there for the weekend from Seattle. I'm happy to answer any questions. Tourism there is still going strong...

Thanks for posting your links!

I read all three and pretty much agree with you, having taken a very similar trip last winter. I can't believe you skipped the actual tribal storyteller in La Push, but that's just me. Props getting as far as you did down Rialto Beach. It isn't an easy walk! So beautiful. I also thought the butt-rash quote was a little harsh, though you redeemed it by showing how hard the townspeople are working to have fun with their unexpected fame.

Sounds like you're planning to come back and explore further. I'm planning to get out to the OP more, too.

Ainwa - Thanks for reading! I used the Egan quote because it shows how far the area has come, tourism-wise, from the pre-Twilight era. And I know, it was lame that I didn't make it through the storyteller. Words can't describe how exhausted I was from walking Rialto Beach...I'm not in the best shape. I know I'll be back sometime though!
