We will be Visiting St. Anton am Arlberg first week of October. Any activities or celebrations during between 3rd -7th October in this area of Austria? Would also like to know whether the lifts will still be open for public during this week?

It only shows the summer schedule until 23rd - perhaps there is an autumn schedule ?? any other way to go up a vantage point in this area

No autumn schedule. St.Anton and region will be very quiet, and in fact in preparation for winterseason.

Not the best time of year to go.

I am currently here and the place is empty . The last gondola closes tomorrow the 23rd September . Very much a ghost town which is kind of surreal .

St. Anton and Lech will be relatively quiet in the month of October. Hiking is still to be had with wonderful hikes abounding with some Autumn color. The Formarin See or the Steinenmare is wonderful hike among fossils that were deposited long ago. The hike from the base of that mountain to Lech is always quite wonderful well depending on your fitness level. The cows and sheep have already come down the mountains and many celebrations such as Autumn festivals are presently taking place. If interested in Octoberfest you may find cities in the Rhine Valley may still have activities happening. The Bregenz capital of Vorarlberg has museums as does Dornbirn. The Lake Constance region has plenty to offer as far cultural places of interest. If you are interested I live and work in Bregenz and keep a travel vlog in our region called Native Journeys Travels with Sharon and Franz.
