Aloha, LozW1957,

Welcome to the forums.

No, there are no buses or other public transit on Lana'i. You can use a private shuttle.

The shuttle costs $10 each way per person. They will be waiting at the harbor when you get off the ferry. We have twice enjoyed a full day on the beach with a cooler and not taken the shuttle into town. Next time we may rent a Jeep to explore. If you don't want to pack a cooler, you can also walk to Four Seasons for lunch. The $20 per person you save on the shuttle will probably buy you a cocktail. 😊
