Pizza in Long Beach?

Can anyone recommed somewhere good to get pizza in Long Beach? We used to go to Bluto's before he moved on down the coast. We have been to Chico's and the pizza was just okay. Also got one from Long Beach Tavern, smelt awesome, but was terrible. Soggy crust and loaded down with a few pounds of cheese. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Hmmm... go to a coastal area, swimming in excellent seafood, and order pizza? I guess so.

Yelp lists a couple of places with mixed reviews: Chico’s Pizza Parlor in Seaview and Serious Pizza in Cape Disappointment State Park.

Haven't eaten at either, but have been past Serious Pizza, right in the middle of the park. Wood fired oven, and the pies looked good from 10 feet away.

Ray, hmmm, we go to this coastal area swimming in excellent seafood a couple of times a year for 5 nights a trip, and we usually hit the depot a couple times, 42nd street, and the Shelbourne, but sometimes it is just nice to have a simple pizza! Thanks on the info on Serious Pizza, maybe we will check it out!

Jeremy, you are obviously right about my communication skills, apparently I wasn't clear about the fact that the pizza from L.B.T was terrible. To be more precise, it was disgusting. About as bad a pizza as we have ever had, but thanks for the ordering tips!

That's the funny thing about Long Beach, its either feast - or not. ;)

I'd wonder if Serious is a summer-only operation. It's literally in the middle of the park, near the ampitheater. If you find they're open 'off season' do let us know.

Take a little drive down Hwy 101 to Manzanita on the northern Oregon Coast. Marzano's is one of the best on the West Coast -- we've been known to drive from the Salem area (roughly 2 hours away) for their pizza. Definitely worth the drive. And the long sandy beach a block away is equally awesome!

Thanks OregonJohn! Great info, even if we don't head down from Long Beach, we go to Cannon Beach a couple of times a year also, and will definitely check out Marzano's then! Thanks again!
