Stuart VA...Close to anything?

We are planning a weekend get away to the VA mountains. We have never been there before but want a good general location to just get a feel for the area. Would like to see the Natural Bridge, and other small towns...Lexington, etc.

I found a cabin in Stuart VA...is this a good central location for some day trips?

Thanks

No. Stuart, VA is in the middle of absolute no where. I would recommend staying in Roanoke as it is closer to many things. You can do your day trips out to Natural Bridge, VT, Blue Ridge Parkway, Jefferson National Forest, the New River, etc.
