Vermont in the fall

Staying in Killington for the week of Oct 15 and looking for the Vermont fall experience within a couple of hours-cute towns, easy hikes, beautiful vistas, great bowl of soup or chilie etc.

Matt

Tell us what research you have already done so we don't repeat what you already know. Can't have the great bowl of soup--- they sold it to me last week, sorry.

Where are you staying? The hotel/inn manager can probably give you tips. If you have internet access, you can come back and ask for second opinions.

Also, consider picking up a guidebook for Vermont. Again, come back and ask if you need more specific info or additional opinions for driving times, etc.

Pretty much the entire state of Vermont has cute towns, easy hikes, beautiful vistas, within a couple of hours.
