Waco to Austin

Wondering if there is anything to see or do along the way when driving from Waco to Austin.

What kind of things do you have in mind? What time of year are you making the drive? Did you want to stop somewhere or just drive past? Are you taking I-35 the whole way or do you want to travel back roads through the countryside?

I like Salado. They have cute shops and good places to eat. http://www.salado.com/

It seems silly to recommend a convenience store as a place to stop, but Bucee's is really something to behold. There is one in Temple if you are going down I-35.

Inner Space Caverns in Georgetown is unique. https://innerspacecavern.com/

Round Rock has an outlet mall. https:/…stores

Waco to Austin isn't a very long drive; most people make it without a stop.

In mid November probably on I-35 but I like that Salado idea. Thanks.
