WE have decided on Graiguenanamaugh for a 3 night rural, peaceful portion of our 18 nights in Ireland. WE are thinking of staying at the Waterside Inn which would be convenient for biking and walking the trails. Also convenient to pubs or cafes. WE hope to arrive on Sunday, May 12 or Monday, May 13 so we would be there Sunday to Wednesday or Monday to Thursday.

My question is this - I have read on 1 or 2 accounts that most things are closed on Mon to Wed during non-peak times. I assume that mid May is not-peak. i have contacted a few businesses to ask about this but have not heard back - maybe they are closed for the winter?

I would appreciate your insight.
