Which Dune Buggey company is the best to do the dunes?
Others recommend Sandland
I'm not familiar with the buggy options in Reedsport, but others on the forum will be able to make some recommendations.
My biggest recommendation is that unless you are familiar with the dunes, you let a guide be your guide. Many of the dunes are 300-500 ft with precipitous dropoffs. Also, the expanse of dunes is so great that you can get lost and in less than optimum weather can't even tell which side the ocean is on.
We've been getting an unusually large number of injuries and fatalities this young summer (kayaks over rocky waterfalls, mountain climbing accidents, river and ocean drownings and just the past couple of days a guy who went off trail and fell at Crater Lake and is on a respirator now...and I'm not even counting the three lost souls who disobeyed signs in Yosemite and got killed in another waterfall accident).
And the Dunes always claim a victim or two every year. Try not to be one.
