Self catering Accommodation on Isle of Wight( June 2013)

We( 3 adults) will be visiting the IOW for 4 days in June 2013( 17th - 20th) and would like to get assistance in where we can find self catering accommodation.

Our accommodation budget for the 4 days would be between 400 - 500 pounds. This is excluding spending money.

We would like to have access to some trail running along footpaths, as well as road cycling to see some of the island. Lastly close access to some good restaurants and festive pubs would certainly cap off our stay.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You've only posted on Freshwater and Yarmouth forums, so is it definitely just West Wight you want to stay?

Have a look at these, I have stayed here, basic but OK;

The only thing is that these are quite remote from any decent pubs or restaurants (there is a bar with basic pub grub).

Hi, thanks for the feedback. We are not to fussed as to where we stay. I have been to Yarnmouth before( 2 days) and quite liked it. I have not seen any of the island so if you have suggestions on where to stay, then by all means let me know.

The old mill holiday park in st helens is one of the best we have found, but im not sure if you would be able to get booked there now, although it is worth a try, a fantastic place, the lodges are really nice.

The major flaw with Arreton Manor is that it is situated less than 200m from Robin Hill- the Bestival site.
