This may be posted "twice". . . if link lights up there is further information available which gives some menu info. Village had at least one low key "cafe" type offering up fresh food & sandwiches + coffee. Fairly certain there was a turnover in ownership of several "leased" restaurant premises in last couple of years. Intrawest owns most of retail space; used to provide "service" to restauranters; some have left - others moved in. . .

As with any Ski Village food will be at somewhat of a premium; there are several options; seek out the "Village Map" off above lnk.

If you can, buy your groceries and pack "basics" up to the hill with you? Breakfast - Fruit/cereal/snacks/ etc in your room can off set cost of eating out, at least one meal? Activities and keeping warm in the great outdoors requires fuel for the fire; having food in your room is a "comfort" thing(?). .

Inveremere not known for "inexpensive" groceries; locals do "major shops" in Calgary or Cranbrook. . .

Some great restaurants "down the mountain" in Inveremere + usual suspects of "quick food" franchisees. Downtown bakery is clean, friendly, "good" food and coffee - reasonable + couple of "funky" spots. . .

Winter has started too early here; record setting cold temperatures across Canada this past week "El Nino"(?) http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/Nino+warm+Western+Canada+winter/1940662/story.html

- hope we have lots of snow in this entire valley for Christmas; local economy enjoys/counts your tourism dollars; s do all us outdoor types.

Come on out and enjoy the "Warm Side of the Rockies". . .
