RV camping in Hot Springs

RV camping in Hot Springs

Is there any free or cheap travel-trailer campgrounds or parking areas for thru-hikers families while waiting for their hiking friends to make it through Hot Springs. On a tight budget. Thanks!

Not free but the Hot Springs campground is reasonable and in a great location. The trail goes through the center of town.

I am reading some negative reviews that it is not worth the pricy $45 a night!

I've tent camped at Rocky Bluff campground......it is about 3 miles from Hot Springs. It's a national forest campground and only $8/night. Don't know if it will accommodate an RV or trailer. It's only open in the summer.

You might call the Hot Springs campground- we have friends that stay there frequently and that's not the price they paid. Everyone I know that has ever stayed there really enjoyed it.
