Morro de São Paulo

This Island is beautiful and very pleasant, romantic and full of charm. Access is a problem when the waves or wind are stronger. Instead of a 2h30 boat trip straight from Salvador to Morro, you have a 1 hour boat to another island , then 2 hours van + finally 20 boat. Beaches here and little trips by boat around the islands are an amazing experience. Food is good and tasty, a lot of Portuguese, Italian influence. People are friendly. If you can avoid 1st and 2 beach to choose your hotel, very noisy and too comercial. The best would be the 3rd one or even the 4th if you need to disconnect from the world!

On the 1st,2nd and 3rd beach no cars allowed! So use the manual taxi at the port for luggage transportation, not a good idea to carry your own luggage. We never saw or felt fear or security problems in the island. Nevertheless try to stay on main paths. Ah don t forget to watch futvolei games on 2 beach at the end of the day, amazing skills. Enjoy your trip at morro de São Paulo.
