Does Cosmo ever have any deals?

Hi there,

We are plannning to go to Vegas in October for a week and I have been keeping my eye out for deals at The Cosmopolitan but am yet to see any.

Im always getting emails from Venetian, MGM and alike but it seems there are never any deals for Cosmo! :(

Has anyone managed to snag any decent deals, I onow I can book now and just cancel if a better deal comes up but in everyone heres expereience:

ARE there any deals to be had?

HOW soon to the departure date would you leave booking?

Thanks all :)))

Have you been to their direct site?? They have stay three nights, get one free, but it is only until August. I am sure they will extend it. They also have resort credits based on how long you stay.

We will be staying for a week so hopefully there will be SOME sort of deal... Come on Cosmo Management if youre reading this!!!! Tehehehe ;-)

Unfortunately most casino marketing departments do not take into account the needs of those of us that have to plan multiple months (or longer) out. Most offers I get are for only a few weeks out (a month or two at the most). This may work for local or people within a few hour drive, but not for those of us who have to fly across the country (or farther).

I wish they would divide their marketing database into two groups - one for those who are in driving distance, and one for the rest of us. Continue to send the sort term deals to those close by, but extend offers out 6-12 months for those of us who are not.

Hi Andy. As CBub said, too early for October. Nothing wrong with looking now, but June/July is probably a good time for the deals. I got a superb rate in June for a Terrace 1 bed through expedia back in Feb, one of their regular 72 hour sales. Also please check lowcostusa.co.uk, they are incredibly cheap.

Thanks RvR, can I ask you how you knew the 72 hour sale was on and how good a deal you got?

Have you a TA review of the hotel? It looms what we are after on this trip but I keep reading bad things about noise and poor housekeeping. :-/

Decisions decisions. :)

Not trying to get too far off topic, and I know this may not apply to the OP or everyone but the hotel at Cosmo is partnered with Marriott hotels. Beyond the standard sales and deals you can use Marriott rewards to book free or discounted stays there if you are a member of their loyalty program.

Granted, it is part of the "Autograph" collections and takes a &#%@ of points.

I also booked through Expedia, sun-fri in wraparound terrace for £675 ($1032) at the time. This is for June, booked in January.

I just stumbled upon the sale by chance - but I'm pretty sure you can sign up to get deals by email. The rate I got was £315 for 3 nights in June - haven't seen it cheaper than that anywhere, and believe me I've been looking! I'm SO excited but like you also a bit nervous about the noise and housekeeping issues....

I would love to know the answer to this as well. Is it true that you can walk in and show them your tier level with another property and they are willing to offer you the same perks? I thought I read that someone was a gold member with Mlife and they were offered free rooms or the same discounted rates that they receive at MGM properties at Cosmo. Is this true?
