Kids at The Bellagio

I just got back from staying at the Bellagio last week and I never saw SO many kids there before. Out by the pool, every where I turned or looked there were kids from under a year old through their teens, but mostly kids from 3-12. Some of them even bought floats and pool toys from home. I couldn't believe that they (the life guards) were even allowing them to run and jump into the pool. One kid was running and doing flips from the air into the pool. They also kept hanging and playing on the steps which was making it hard for older people to get in and out of the pool! I also had a baby from another party that kept coming over and trying to take my sunglasses and playing with my suntan lotion bottles...lol I love the Bellagio, but they are letting it become Disney Land!!

"One kid was running and doing flips into the pool?"

Oh, the HORROR of actually letting a kid have some fun at the pool!!! Thank God there are no more of those dastardly diving boards around that MIGHT cause a kid to slip and get a skinned knee or something as death-defying as that.

I much prefer seeing kids playing and havin fun in a pool as opposed to fat, old pasty folks. More kids and less old guys at the pool!!

I wonder about anyone who prefers raucus, loud unruly children to whatever type adults in Las Vegas. Disneyland sure, but Vegas? Of course that's why the same people only tip valets a dollar as they run in 110* heat.

Bellagio always has kids in the public areas---after all you are staying at a tourist attraction. So it shouldn't really be a shock when tourists show up. And, yes I understand you were talking about the pool.

There are 2 main ways to lessen the deluge of kids in Las Vegas:

Don't go during summer vacation, spring or Christmas breaks. There is a huge difference when shool is out.

Stay at Wynn. There's no other way to say this;Wynn discourages children and it works. That doesn't mean you won't see any, but you will certainly notice the difference.

Good point Ktinca. Or stay with high roller Holgater at Circus Circus.

I love children but not when they are disrupting my pool time, you really have to blame the parents for their actions, they let them run around and do as they want, then when one gets seriously hurt its the old Law suite with these type of people. If parents dont have any respect for other people do you think the kids do.

Go to Circus Circus where all the whack jobs are.

I blame the parents myself, these twenty somethings are a right pain, very poor upbringing, no respect these days.

"When they are disrupting YOUR pool time?"

Dude, unless the pool is at your house or you otherwise own it, that pool is public domain for every hotel guest, and that can include their kids. If you don't like, spend the money and stay at WYNN where there are ZERO kids in the pool.

It's simple really - if you don't like kids, don't spend time in one of the few places in Vegas where they are welcome! You won't be bothered by kids in the casino or in bars. At least their parents have the decency to take them somewhere that they will enjoy. As others have said, no matter where I'm staying, I'd much prefer to see children running around the pool playing and having fun, acting like children, rather than seeing adults in their 20's or 30's doing the same. I've seen both, I know which I prefer. If you want an 'adult pool' experience, spend the money and go to an 'adult pool'.
