Cosmopolitan vs The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa

My wife and I are going this weekend Las Vegas I’m torn between the Cosmo and the Westin Lake Las Vegas, I know ones on the strip and ones away. Have a car so the distance to the strip does not matter. We do have a couple shows plans. My main question is does one offer over the other.

Never stayed at the other but I would 100% stay at Cosmo .

They are two different worlds. Cosmopolitan is vibrant, modern, alive 24/7. Westin Lake Las Vegas is remote, quiet, and relaxed. Depends on what you are looking for.

To be clear, are you confusing the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa with the Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa, which is located just off the strip?

I’m talking the one off the strip in Henderson

As stated, what are you looking for? Your answer will guide you.

If you are hitting a couple lf shows it seems silly to drive back to Lake Las Vegas at the end of each night.

Cosmo I’d even stay at the Flamingo over anything at Lake Lasvegas.

When it is very hot the "lake" reeks. I don't know if the hotel is close enough to the lake so it might be an issue.

For a newbie who wants to see Vegas, Cosmo is the answer. Driving in, paying parking, being inconvenienced is not a fun trip. Stay at the Cosmo this trip

Lake Las Vegas is a long distance to the strip - 45 minutes at least to drive each way. If you want a place to stay and relax around a pool and lake, LLV is OK. But it is not the place to be if you want to experience Las Vegas.
