Just wanted to let everyone know that the MGM Facebook game, My Vegas, now allows you to "purchase" comps at Gold Strike in Tunica with your loyalty points along with other MGM properties around the US, including Vegas.
If you're not familiar with the game, you play slots or black jack on their game with chips you get for free (you can purchase additional chips, but I never have). Playing the games earns you loyalty points which you can in turn redeem for rewards like rooms, show tickets, meals, monorail passes, etc. On our last trip to Vegas in December, we redeemed points for meals at Aria, MGM and Bellagio, tickets to the Secret Garden at Mirage, etc.
I can tell you that earning LP's seems to start slow, but as you build your strip and advance on levels, the chip and LP counts climb faster. There's mobile versions available as well, but the chips between the computer game and the mobile game do not sync. LP's do sync. The general consensus is that you build LP's faster on the computer version.
