Questions re: Upcoming Tunica Trip

Booked at Gold Strike for a few days (week days). First time in Tunica. Would like to find information regarding the buffet there (pricing, food comps?, quality) as well as any other suggestions on good restaurants, buffets or nearby casinos worth visiting. Any good promos, deals or coupons?

Same as my last reply - check the individual casino websites for promos.

Gold Strike is my go-to in Tunica as far as a place to stay. It's nice and I think you will like it. I haven't been to Tunica in quite some time, but there are two casinos next door within walking distance you should check out - Horseshoe & one other that used to be a Sheraton casino.

There's not much in Tunica, so don't expect to find food, shopping or entertainment outside of the casinos.

Have fun & Good Luck!

The Gold Strike's buffet is ok. We really like the one at Horseshoe, which is right next door. If you play there for a bit, just go see the casino host and they will most likely comp you buffets there. I've never had an issue.

We are back from our trip. We did have lunch at the Horseshoe Buffet. It was good. Overall, no play on slots at Gold Strike, Balleys, Horseshoe. Broke even/little ahead at Road House. A little more play in Biloxi for sure.

No real

I know it is pretty bad here! We go once every other year (although we are going this year and we were just there last year). And, we should know better. The slots kill us. But. it's still pretty fun for a long weekend.
