You do not mention time of arrival and departure. As informed in many threads on this subject, the best option is to approach Bharat Sevashram Sangha located near Gaya Railway stn. Take the main exit from platform 1 and you cannot miss their office. Take it forward from there as you will be well guided. Only be prepared for very basic facilities at the ashram. Better bring some bed-sheets from home if you consider staying overnight. (Strictly my personal opinion). If you reach very early the entire rituals and visit to Bodhgaya can be completed during the day. However have seen many staying overnight. You are the best person to decide.

A couple of other points - in addition to the pind Dan cost you will have to pay to 2/3 other persons / pandas and offcource to your Purohit. Keep those dakshinas in the 101 to 151 range. To your purohit left to you. Lastly donation at the Sangha. If the donation amount is decent then fine else face some cajoling to increase. Sorry for being blunt, but that has been my experience. Hope this helps.

PS- Avoid giving many names of your family tree to save on time.
