Is there anything to do in Rockport in early November?

Not much. Tourist type stores for the most part will be closed. What did you plan you would do there in November?

Motif #1 will still be there. So will Halibut Point and the Atlantic Ocean.

'S wonderful. Just different. Fine beach and rock walks, but with a jacket. Halibut Point: No charge for parking. Downtown: Parking without waiting. Some galleries closed, but some will be open. Same with restaurants and candy stores. Toad Hollow bookstore in an old granite bank will be open. The Emerson Inn and the Cape Ann Motor Inn and more will be open, without a two-night minimum. Could be a storm far offshore that makes the sea more interesting than in summer. And if this isn't enough, Gloucester and Ipswich are still a few minutes down the road.
