As a former South Florida resident, I wouldn't recommend staying on Key Biscayne only because there's not much else to do there other than having the quickest access to Crandon Park.

I would recommend staying in Downtown Miami or South Beach. That'll at least give you access to more things going on. From Downtown, you'll be about 10-15 minutes from the Park and from South Beach, you'll need about 30-45 minutes with some traffic.

The OPEN website includes area hotels with shuttle stops. These are best.

Stay AT or NEAR one of these properties.

Do you think i'd be better off staying on Key Biscayne near only a few minutes to Crandon park? Before the matches is the traffic bad from Miami? My husband and i are only staying one night, just there to see tennis matches.

If you are strictly there for the tennis, then I think it makes the most sense for you to stay on the Key.

if you stay downtown or in Brickell, highly suggest Uber instead of driving there/rental car.

We actually pre booked our parking, it's suppose to be the closest lot to the main court.
