The Dry Dock is on the south end of Longboat..not close by. It is across the street from the Longboat Key Club.

There are reviews for the Hilton under the "Hotel" heading on this TA page.

We stayed in the Sand Cay condos right next door to the Hilton. I think the Hilton is the only "hotel" on Longboat. I didn't see any others just millions of condos! The Dry Dock is about a 10-15 minute drive south. We got take-out several times from the Whitney Beach deli which is about 5 minutes north of the Hilton. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and you can get it to go.) The food was good, but they did mess up the order once. Our fault for not checking the food before we left! There are a couple of fun places to eat in Bradenton Beach which is about 10-15 minutes north of the Hilton.

The Longboat Key Club at the south end of Longboat is another hotel. Unlike the Hilton, the Longboat Key Club is a full-service hotel/resort complex. There also used to be a Holiday Inn on Longboat but that was torn down several years ago to be replaced by condos.
