No, the main Pier is still closed. There are seats along the rail and the tiki bar is open, but the main pier is being rebuilt and remains closed.
The pier is going to be out of commission for a while. The bar and boardwalk to Mallory Square is open. Just get there early if you want a seat for sunset.
Anyone know when the pier will be completed?
Get there real early
Was just there yesterday morning before we headed back to Miami. They moved the stage over to where the stairs leading up to Hot Tin Roof are. The main pier as stated above is closed down and I was told by the bartender it was going to be "a while" before it reopened.
Also 2 Cents will probably be closed for approx 9 more months due to the unbelievable damage from Irma. You can peak through the slats of wood to see the damage. Wow!Edited: 19 February 2018, 20:35
What is early?
Anytime close to sunset the crowds start to come in. If you want a place on the rail, stop in late afternoon, have a beverage and some food and get a good spot. As far as the pier, the last I knew is they were still not completely sure how they were going to go about the repair.
Thanks everyone for the responses.
